{"id":1641,"date":"2014-01-16T22:34:25","date_gmt":"2014-01-17T03:34:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.planetsusan.org\/?p=1641"},"modified":"2014-01-16T22:35:27","modified_gmt":"2014-01-17T03:35:27","slug":"first-two-chapters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.planetsusan.org\/?p=1641","title":{"rendered":"First Two Chapters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I finished Chapter 2 and 4 of the homework assignment for the Resilient Design Class.\u00a0 Those were my assignments, and my two partners Rinki and Richu will each take two chapters.\u00a0 It was an eye-opening experience to think about life in the Phillipines with heat, humidity, typhoons, earthquakes and oh &#8230; did I forget&#8230; volcanoes?\u00a0 In fact, the Phillipines, sort of like Hawaii, was mostly formed from volcanoes.\u00a0 According to my research in the climate section, a typhoon in 1881 killed 20,000 people.\u00a0 Now that&#8217;s a typhoon.\u00a0 The latest one, Haiyan, was the strongest in recorded history.\u00a0 So I thought I&#8217;d share some pictures that I used in my chapters with you.\u00a0 Enjoy~<\/p>\n<p>Oh, by the way, I can see why people like Facebook &#8211;
