This is the maiden voyage of the new & improved Planet Susan.  The change was prompted by a couple of things:  first, John and I found a new & fairly simple template for blogging.  Let’s face it:  the old Planet Susan was more of a web page than it was a blog.  Well, we’re now at Word Press, which lets me format the work more like a scroll-down blog.  Second: recent blowups with the family made me want to change from such family-centric postings to more about who I am and what I’m about.  At the ripe old age of almost 62, maybe it’s time I figured that out, eh?  Finally, it would be nice to interact with others – the old Planet Susan only allowed comment if you were an AT&T subscriber (guess there weren’t too many out there at the time).

So what will the New & Improved Plant Susan be all about?  Some old stuff (ref: the video from 2008 – Sadr City on the “War” page), some recycled and updated stuff (love that topic of Economics and the market) and finally some new commentary about this journey of self discovery.  I’m going to try to limit my rants, since some recent forays out to other gals’ sites made me realize that rants are tiresome – so no more!
